About Us
We're four autistic young adults, figuring out life and sharing our experiences as neurodivergent people. Our Instagram account was started by a friend of ours, named Jasper, in early 2017. Eden joined as an admin soon after the account was created, and invited Leo to join in the spring of 2017. Then, in the summer of 2017, Eden and Leo met in person for the first time at the summer camp we all go to. That same year at camp, Eden and Laurel became very close friends, and Eden invited Laurel to join as well. In the fall of 2020 Eden met Abby and the two of them started dating. We've all been working together since.
About Eden:
Hi there! There's a lot I can and should say here to introduce myself, but I'll try to keep it as concise as possible (though that's not one of my strong suits).
I was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder at around age seven (though my parents were aware that I had sensory issues from birth), PDD-NOS at around age eight, and then Asperger's at age nine. I refer to myself as Autistic, not as an Aspie, because of the historical and cultural baggage that comes with the Asperger's label, in addition to the fact that Asperger's is no longer a diagnosis in the DSM V. All autistics process information in a fundamentally similar way, and are therefore equally, though differently, autistic.
I have also been diagnosed with a myriad of other mental and physical conditions, which are: ADHD (predominantly inattentive type), Generalized Anxiety Disorder with OCD traits, Trichotillomania (trich), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS).
I'm a genderqueer/transmasculine butch lesbian and I use they/them pronouns.
My current special interests include:
I plan on using this website to post my writing, which will be of all types, including personal stories, political writing, poetry, and examinations of various aspects of the neurodiversity movement.
About Leo:
Hi friends!
I was diagnosed with Aspergers when I was 8, and was later diagnosed with ADHD and a math learning difference when I was 12. I have also been diagnosed with anxiety, depression, trichotillomania, and gender dysphoria. I also do not identify with Aspergers, mostly because it's no longer in the DSM V and because Autism should not be labeled by "functioning level."
I identify as an androgynous transgender man and my pronouns are he/him.
I have plenty of talents and interests. I'm an artist, former martial artist, former horseback rider, singer-songwriter, and photographer. I play four different instruments- the guitar, ukulele, piano and drums- as well as write, produce, and publish my own songs!
My interests are video games such as Zelda, Pokemon, Skyrim and Minecraft, psychology, neuroscience, art, any genre of music, Hispanic culture, traveling, Doctor Who, drag and witchcraft.
If you're interested in listening to my music, it's published on both Apple Music and Spotify!

About Laurel:
Hey nerds! I'm Laurel. I'm agender/non-binary and use all pronouns. I spend a lot of time driving places, dancing, doing homework, and watching too much youtube.
I was diagnosed as autistic in 2013, when I was 11. That gave a lot of context to the way life was for me, but over time, remembering that I'm autistic has faded into the background, so until I joined this account, I didn't really think much about it. I did think a lot about my special interests, though. Those are:
